The records exchanged using the FHIR Service on a typical day will include the following types of data: Allergies, Anatomic Pathology, Chemistry, Clinical Notes (Inpatient & Outpatient), Consults, Cytology, Demographics, Discharge Summaries, Encounters (Expanded ADT), Forms, Family History, Hematology, Microbiology, Other Past Medical History, Pharmacy/Medication (Order/Fill), Post Deployment Health Assessment, Post Deployment Health Reassessment, Pre Deployment Health Assessment, Problem Lists, Procedures, Questionnaires, Radiology, Social History, Surgical Pathology, Vital Signs.
The data accessed by clinicians across the country using the VA’s HL7 FHIR Service is from DoD systems including: AHLTA/CDR, Essentris, Theater Medical Data Store, and DHMSM Genesis/Cerner.
